Call for Abstracts
All papers submitted for this conference, and previous conferences in the series, are peer‐reviewed by experts in the field. We are pleased to announce that selected best papers presented at the DDI2017 conference will be invited to be expanded for consideration in a Special Issue of the IET Intelligent Transport Systems journal (http://digital-library.theiet.org/content/journals/iet-its).
IET Intelligent Transport Systems is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to research into the practical applications of intelligent transport systems and infrastructures.
The conference Scientific Committee welcomes abstracts for papers and presentations from all stakeholder groups (researchers, designers, engineers, policy makers, transport companies, etc.), from all modes of transport (land, air and sea) and from any relevant discipline including, but not limited to, psychology, neuropsychology, neuroscience, human factors, medicine, ergonomics, sociology, epidemiology, engineering and technology, law and politics, etc. We look forward to receiving abstracts from a good mix of academics and practitioners.

The abstract should describe (between 400-500 words):
1. The issue(s) addressed/to be addressed
2. Methods used/to be used
3. Key findings/expected findings
4. Key conclusions
5. Whether you wish to give a paper or non‐paper presentation (see below*)
Please, use the following template: DDI_2017_Abstract_Template.doc
The title of the file should be “DDI_2017_Abstract_YOUR_FULL_NAME”

Paper review Process
- All papers submitted for this conference are peer‐reviewed. A Scientific Committee has been convened, comprising more than 20 international experts in the field.
- The Scientific Committee will review all papers received, and those selected will be published in the electronic conference proceedings and on the conference website.
- Selected authors will be invited to have their paper (suitably modified and expanded) published in addition, as a peer‐reviewed paper in a special issue of IET Intelligent Transport Systems journal.
- Papers that are not accepted by the reviewers as peer‐reviewed papers will not appear in the electronic proceedings, but the authors may be invited to deliver an oral presentation deriving from the paper (in which case the PowerPoint presentation will be published in the conference electronic proceedings).
